Meet our Team

Our Holly and Hugo team is truly international and includes experts with awesome experience! We all have pets and cannot imagine living without our furry friends!

Pippa Elliott

Pippa Elliott, BVMS MRCVS, is a veterinarian with 27-years' experience in companion animal practice. As a child, Pippa was pony mad and can't remember a time when she didn't want to be a vet. She started seeing practice at her local clinic at the age of 14, and it was a dream-come-true when she was accepted for vet school. Pippa then went on to graduate.

Pippa's first job was in a practice by the sea, where she acquired her first (of many) waif-and-stray, a Dockyard Cat Rescue kitten, called Skate. She then worked for the PDSA (People's Dispensary for Sick Animals) which is a national charity that provides veterinary care for the animals of owners with limited finance.

Then, some 10 years after graduation events turned full circle when Pippa found herself back on home turf and working at the very clinic where she volunteered as an animal obsessed teenager.

Outside veterinary work, Pippa acts as housekeeper to five cats (Wallace, Gromit, Pilchard, Widget, and Noni) two sons, one husband and a bearded-dragon called Gravos Mushnik. View More View Less

Animals are such an important part of her life that when the family go on vacation at least one cat and the bearded dragon travel along – which means her husband riding shotgun on a motorbike as they don't all fit in the car. Fortunately, she has a very understanding husband!
